Also known as direct marketing, push marketing is a form of general advertising. This area of ad work covers a lot of things, from email and social media campaigns to printed signage. For example, when I shop for clothes, I look for the signs that tell me where to find the current sales. From there, I would head toward those items first — the idea is to lead your customer into finding that product they didn’t expect to buy, but can’t live without.

The goal of push marketing is to bring what you offer to customers through artwork and messaging.
